This isn't about eating less or more, moving differently, or following a set of rules. It's about understanding your nervous system and it's behavioural patterns - and impementing practical tools to developing a different relationship with yourself.

You might be here if

The Grounded Method was built for people who are looking for a non-diet, nervous system informed approach to supporting their thoughts and behaviours around food and their body.

You find yourself eating in ways that feel out of control, or feeling rigid and stuck in rules - and the cycle feels impossible to break

You think about food, your body, or what you "should" be doing constantly - and it's exhausting

You know what could be supportive, but you feel stuck in repeating cycles.

You use food or your body to manage stress, numb out, or cope - and some part of you knows it's not really about the food

You're ready to embody a genuine shift in how you relate to food and your body

You want support that is evidence-informed, nuanced, and meets you where you actually are

A note on clinical care: The Grounded Method is a coaching program, not a clinical treatment. If you are currently in an active eating disorder or in a recovery process and working with a treatment team, please speak with your provider before joining. This program works alongside clinical support - it does not replace it.

Three phases. One journey.

The Grounded Method unfolds over 12 weeks. Each phase builds on the last - together forming a complete, integrated path from understanding to empowerment.

01
Weeks 1–4
The Ground
Before the change

Before anything shifts, we get curious. What do you notice? What has been running in the background? This phase is about building a foundation of understanding.

Nervous system basics The Art of Noticing Understanding patterns The Grounded Self
02
Weeks 5–8
The Root
Unlearning what no longer serves

This is where the real work happens. We go deeper into the rules, the judgements, the inherited beliefs about food and your body - and we begin to loosen their grip. You'll explore what grounded eating actually feels like, not as a diet, but as a lived experience.

Food rules & restriction Emotional eating Urge management Shame & self-talk Body image

Weeks 9–12
The Bloom
Integration & living it forward

Taking what has shifted internally and allowing it to show up in your actual life. This phase is about building rhythms not rules.

Hi, I'm Kirsten

I created this program because I know what it feels like to be in the cycle - and I know what it takes to find a way out. Not by fighting harder, but by getting genuinely curious about what the body is trying to say.

I'm a qualified coach specialising in dysregulated eating and the complicated relationship many people have with food and their bodies. I've worked in eating disorder spaces for years, and I bring both specialist training and lived experience to every session.

The Grounded Method is small on purpose. I want to know your name and your story.

Things people ask

The Grounded Method is a coaching program, not a clinical treatment. If you are currently working with a treatment team for an eating disorder, please check with them before joining - this program can work well alongside clinical support, but does not replace it. If you're unsure whether this is right for you, please reach out and we'll have an honest conversation first.
Session times for the July and August cohort will be confirmed once enrolment closes, taking participant time zones into account. As the program is open internationally, I aim to find a time that works for the majority of the group. All sessions are recorded and shared privately so nothing is ever missed.
All sessions are recorded and added to your private Google Drive folder within 24 hours. Life happens - the program is designed so that missing the occasional session doesn't mean losing the thread.
Yes a payment plan is available to all participants. The first payment secures your place; the rest are due monthly during the delivery of the program.
Yes - this is a popular option. Some participants join the group cohort and add private sessions with me alongside it for a more personalised layer of support. Subject to availability.
Absolutely. The program is fully online and open to participants worldwide. All sessions are held via Google Meet and all resources are delivered digitally. Pricing is in USD to keep things accessible across different currencies.
Coaching works primarily in the here and now - offering practical support, accountability, nervous system and embodiment awareness, and a forward-focused approach that helps translate insight into sustainable day-to-day change. It is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. The Grounded Method works well alongside therapeutic and dietetic support as part of a broader care approach.
If you need to withdraw before the program begins, a full refund is available. Once the program has started, refunds are available according to the duration of the course that was attended. Please contact me to clarify. ANy transfer fees or banking costs for refunds will be charged to your account.
Yes! I understand that not everyone can afford to join the program, and so I have opened up scholarships. You may apply for a 50%, 75% or 100% scholarship. Limited availability. If you are wanting to apply for scholarship, please send an email through titled "scholarship application" along with your cover letter and which scholarship you are applying for.
